People are waiting, not driving
A salon chair, a clinic waiting room, a queue at a counter. People in these places have a few minutes and a screen in front of them. A roadside board gets a glance at highway speed.
Toronto & the GTA
Put your ad on digital screens inside local businesses across Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and the rest of the GTA. Pick the screens on a map, book by the day, and get proof that your ad played. No agency and no long contract.
Toronto is expensive to advertise in. Billboards on the Gardiner and transit wraps are built for national brands with national budgets. A bakery in Scarborough or a new clinic in Etobicoke needs something smaller, closer to its customers, and priced like a small business.
A salon chair, a clinic waiting room, a queue at a counter. People in these places have a few minutes and a screen in front of them. A roadside board gets a glance at highway speed.
Your ad plays in the neighbourhood where your customers already shop, eat and work out. A café can reach the gym two streets away without paying to reach the whole city.
Screens start at CA$3 a day. You can run a small test on a few screens, see what happens, and spend more only where it works.
Everything happens in your browser. Most advertisers book their first campaign in one sitting.
Sign up for VYPA Advertise. You do not need to own a screen, and you do not need an agency.
Zoom into the neighbourhoods you care about and choose the venues. Filter by the kind of business.
Upload your own creative or design one in the platform. Choose the days you want it to run.
Pay in Canadian dollars. Once your ad is reviewed and accepted, it plays, and every play is logged.
The VYPA network is made of screens in independent local businesses. Owners join as VYPA hosts and let local advertisers book time on the screens they already run.
Food stores and local shops, where every customer passes the counter. Good for services, apps and anything people buy on the way home.
Screens that already carry menus and specials. Diners sit and wait for food, so a short ad between menu slides gets seen.
Clinics, barbershops, salons and fitness studios. Long visits, the same people every week, and a screen in plain view.
Our network is growing across Ontario, with live screens in Mississauga and Brampton and venues across Toronto and the wider GTA. We do not publish a screen count for each city, because it changes as hosts join. The map inside VYPA Advertise shows every screen you can book today, with its venue and location, so you see exactly what you are buying before you pay.
Screens start at CA$3 a day and you book by the day. Here is what three common campaigns cost at the entry rate. Some screens may be priced higher, and you see the rate for each one when you book.
CA$21 / 7 days
One screen near your shop for a week. Enough to check your ad reads well on a real wall.
Book a testCA$90 / 30 days
One well-placed screen for 30 days, or three screens for 10 days. Same budget, your choice of reach or length.

Worked example
Say you have just opened a café and want people within a few blocks to know. Here is one way to spend CA$90.
Open the map and find three venues within walking distance: a gym, a salon and a grocery store. Book all three for 10 days at the entry rate. That is 3 screens × 10 days × CA$3, or CA$90. Upload one clear image: your name, one photo of your best drink, and an offer.
Put a code on the ad, such as "Show this screen for a free cookie", or a QR code that goes to a page only this ad uses. Count the redemptions. Check the proof of play in your dashboard to confirm the ad ran on each screen, then keep the venues that brought people in.
Screen ads work best as short, bold messages. Keep it to one idea, a few words people can read from across the room, and one thing to do next. If the ad needs a paragraph, it belongs on your website. Put the web address or QR code on the screen, not the paragraph.

Marketplaces such as CAASie are well built for roadside and transit boards, and you should use one if that is the reach you need. Our VYPA vs CAASie page sets the two side by side. VYPA large-format boards are live in Nigeria and coming soon in Canada, on our Out of Home page.
Flyers get thrown out, and a social ad competes with everything else on a phone. A screen in a venue is physical, local and in front of people who are already out spending. Many businesses use screens alongside social ads, with the same offer on both.
