Your clients sit facing the wall for an hour

A cut, a colour, a fade or a set of braids keeps someone in the chair far longer than most shops keep a customer. Most of that time they look straight ahead, at the mirror and the wall around it. A screen there gets read, not glanced at.

"How much is a colour?"

The front desk answers the same price questions all day. A clear service menu on screen answers them first, for walk-ins and regulars alike.

Your best work lives on Instagram

Clients follow you online, but the people in your chairs right now never see your portfolio. Put your recent work on the wall where they can see it.

Retail sits on the shelf

Shampoo, beard oil and styling products earn good margin, yet few clients ask about them. A short product loop starts that conversation for you.

On screen in four steps

No installer and no contract. Most shops are live the same day.

Set what plays and when. Change it from your phone, even from the chair.

Ideas for your screen

What salons and barbershops put on screen

Start with two or three of these in one playlist. Keep each item short, eight to fifteen seconds, so a client sees the whole loop during one visit.

By the front desk

Service menu and price list

Cuts, fades, colour, braids, lashes, nails and treatments with their prices. Change a price once and it updates on every screen, with no reprinting.

Across from the chairs

Before-and-after reels

Show your stylists' recent work as photos or short video. Ask clients for permission first, and credit the stylist on each slide.

Near the exit

A booking QR code

Add a QR code that opens your online booking page. Clients scan it with their phone and book the next visit before they leave.

By the retail shelf

Product promotions

Feature the products your team uses, with a price and a simple offer. Schedule a new product each week so regulars see something fresh.

In the waiting area

Meet the team

A slide for each stylist or barber, with their speciality and the days they work. New clients can pick who to book next time.

In the window

Seasonal offers and hours

Grad season, wedding season and the holidays each get their own slides. Set the start and end dates once and the screen changes on its own.

Salons, barbershops and spas use it differently

The same account works for all three. What changes is the mood of the room and what you play.

Hair and beauty salons

Colour and treatment appointments run long, so a salon can play a longer loop: the service menu, colour work, a stylist spotlight and a product of the week. Use a split layout to keep prices on one side while photos rotate on the other.

Barbershops

Barbershops run on walk-ins and regulars. Keep the price list big and readable from the waiting bench, add fresh cuts from the week, and mix in a web page or social feed so the screen feels alive between clients.

Spas and nail studios

A spa wants calm. Play slow still images of treatments and packages, a gift card reminder before the holidays, and your booking QR code. Schedule quieter content for the afternoon and a promotion for the weekend.

What you get

Everything a salon screen needs

Images, video and PDF

Layouts

Split the screen: prices on one side, your work on the other.

Can I try it before I pay?

Yes. Every account starts with a 30-day free trial on one screen. You do not need a credit card to start.

What do I need to plug in?

A TV and one of the players VYPA runs on: the Samsung Smart TV app, Amazon Fire TV, Android or Google TV through Google Play, a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5, or the Web Player in a browser. LG, VIDAA (Hisense) and Roku are coming. The player setup guide walks through each one.

Can I show before-and-after photos and video?

Yes. Upload images and video clips, put them in a playlist and set how long each one shows. Get your client's permission before you show their photos.

Can clients book an appointment from the screen?

Add a QR code image that links to your online booking page. Clients scan it with their phone camera and book there.

What happens if the salon Wi-Fi drops?

The screen keeps playing. The player stores your content and plays it offline, then picks up changes when it reconnects.
