A note on currency. VYPΛ® prices are set in Canadian dollars (CA$) and billed in CAD through Stripe, or in Nigerian naira (₦) through Paystack for Nigerian accounts. What Yodeck does well

Credit where it is due. Yodeck is a mature, widely deployed platform with a large template and app library, a genuinely free tier for a single screen that you can keep indefinitely, competitive per-screen pricing from US$8/screen/month, and a free Raspberry Pi-based player bundled with annual plans. On Yodeck, a screen is an expense: you pay per screen, every month, forever. On VYPΛ® you can enrol that same screen in our host network and keep 70% of the net advertising revenue it earns. For many cafes, salons, gyms and clinics, that turns a monthly bill into a monthly cheque.

One account, three jobs

Run your own content, earn from advertising, and buy advertising on other venues' screens — from a single VYPΛ® login. With Yodeck you would need a signage subscription plus a separate DOOH buying platform, with no connection between them.

Priced in your currency, locally

We bill Canadian accounts in Canadian dollars through Stripe and Nigerian accounts in naira through Paystack, at prices set for each market — not a US dollar figure converted at checkout. Nigerian pricing starts at ₦5,000/screen/month.

Flat-rate tiers once you scale

Beyond three screens our Pro plan is a flat CA$35/month for five screens, and Enterprise is a flat CA$100/month for unlimited screens. Per-screen pricing stops compounding, which it never does on a purely per-screen model.

Common questions

Is VYPΛ® more expensive than Yodeck?

At face value Yodeck's Basic plan is US$8/screen/month against our Basic at CA$10/screen/month — and those are different currencies, so the gap is smaller than the numbers suggest. The more useful comparison is net cost: a Yodeck screen only ever costs you money, whereas a VYPΛ® screen enrolled in our host network earns 70% of the net advertising revenue it generates. Whether that makes VYPΛ® cheaper in practice depends on your location, footfall and advertiser demand, which is why we never promise a figure.

Do you have a free plan like Yodeck's?

No, and we would rather be straight about it. We offer a 30-day free trial covering one screen with 2 GB of storage. Yodeck's free tier is permanent. If a free-forever single screen is what you need, Yodeck is the better fit and we will not pretend otherwise.

Can I migrate from Yodeck to VYPΛ®?

Yes. Your media files and schedules can be rebuilt on VYPΛ®, and most compatible devices can be repointed to our player without buying new hardware. Contact us and we will walk through your setup.

Do I have to run advertising to use VYPΛ®?

No. Enrolling in the host network is entirely optional. You can use VYPΛ® purely as a signage CMS for your own content and never see a third-party advert. You keep control of your own loop either way — see section 6.3 of our Terms of Service.
