Sylvester Stallone Defends Daughter Scarlet’s Role in Tulsa King

Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has defended the casting of his daughter, Scarlet Rose Stallone, in the crime drama series Tulsa King, openly acknowledging that nepotism played a part in giving her the opportunity.

Scarlet, 24, plays Spencer, a stablehand in the Paramount+ series. Although she joined the show in its first season, her character is set to have a bigger role in the fourth season, which premiered in October 2026.

Stallone Addresses Nepotism Criticism

Responding to criticism about his daughter's casting, Stallone argued that parents naturally want to create opportunities for their children. He acknowledged that his influence helped open the door for Scarlet but maintained that getting a role does not automatically guarantee lasting success.

According to Stallone, the real test is whether she can perform well enough to maintain the opportunity and earn the audience's respect.

Opportunity Versus Talent

The debate surrounding Scarlet's casting reflects a wider conversation in the entertainment industry about celebrity families and access to opportunities. Children of established actors may benefit from industry connections, but they still face expectations to demonstrate their abilities on screen.

Stallone's comments make his position clear: he does not deny that his daughter benefited from his influence, but he believes her continued performance will determine how far she goes.
