Former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has reportedly been released on bail after being questioned by the police over allegations of conspiracy, forgery and impersonation.
Reports indicate that Okorocha was arrested at a hotel in Abuja and released after approximately an hour of questioning. He was reportedly asked to return for further questioning on Tuesday.
The police investigation is said to involve allegations for which Okorocha had previously received invitations but allegedly failed to honour. However, details of the case remain limited, and no formal charges have been publicly confirmed in the reports.
