Izutech, Stanley Ontop Raise Fresh Concerns Over Jerry Williams’ Condition

Nollywood filmmaker and digital creator Izutech, alongside actor Stanley Ontop, have raised fresh concerns about the condition of their colleague, Jerry Williams, amid reports of his ongoing struggle with drug addiction.

The concerns come about a year after Izutech reportedly helped take Williams to a rehabilitation centre. However, the filmmaker says the actor's condition has worsened despite the previous intervention.

Izutech Plans Another Rehabilitation Intervention

In an Instagram post, Izutech disclosed that Williams had refused to attend his medical check-ups, raising concerns about his wellbeing and the need for further treatment.

He also shared a photograph of the actor in police custody, appearing unkempt, as he appealed to the public to show compassion and avoid believing claims that Williams was doing fine.

Izutech said he had contacted the actor's family and was awaiting their response before taking further steps. He added that he was prepared to help Williams return to rehabilitation for one or two years if necessary.

The filmmaker also said he was working with relevant authorities to explore how the actor could be admitted into another rehabilitation facility.

Stanley Ontop Seeks Information About Actor

Actor Stanley Ontop also expressed concern about Williams' situation, asking members of the movie industry about his whereabouts and condition.

The development has generated reactions on social media, with some commenters urging the actor's family to seek further help, while others stressed the importance of continued medical and rehabilitation support.

Some social media users attributed his condition to drug addiction, while others speculated about possible spiritual factors. However, no evidence was provided to establish those spiritual claims.

Izutech's appeal has renewed attention on the challenges surrounding Williams' reported addiction and the need for support from his family, colleagues and appropriate rehabilitation professionals.
